There are two ways to invite Learners to the HackEDU Platform. You can add Learners manually or via a .CSV file. To get started, navigate to Admin > Users > + Add Users.
To get started, you will need to create a .CSV or you can download a .CSV template with all the required headers here.
If you would like the Platform to send your Users an onboarding email, make sure to select “Send onboarding email to imported users” checkbox.
If you would like to share a personalized email with the onboarding link, make sure this box is not selected!
Requirements for the .CSV Template
Your .CSV should have four columns:
ADMIN (TRUE or FALSE)
*TEAMS (list of strings)
LICENSE (TRUE or FALSE)
If the ADMIN column is TRUE, the user will have admin privileges for your organization.
The TEAMS column is a comma separated list of team names to add the user to. If the team doesn't exist yet, it will be created automatically. This is not required.
If the LICENSE column is TRUE and there are licenses available for your organization, the user will be assigned an open license.
Only Admins can be uploaded with LICENSE = FALSE value. All non-admin accounts will be assigned an available license.
Onboarding via Email & Password
Alternatively, we have a link you can share if you would rather onboard your Users via email/password. You can find the invite link for email/password onboarding by navigating to Admin > Settings > General and locating the link under the Users settings. You can also use this link if you a user did not receive an invite email.
